Agriculturally Prosperous and Nutritionally Secure Eastern Uttar Pradesh

Mission:
To provide education, Research and Extension services in different branches of Agriculture and Allied Sciences to Farming Community for their Nutritional Security and Prosperous Livelihood of Uttar Pradesh in particular.

Objectives :

• To produce professionals for management of second green revolution.
• To accelerate the pace of enhancing rural income and employment through development of agriculture and allied fields.
• To consolidate the efforts for input and time efficient as well as cost effective technologies, processes and varieties.
• To monitor and review the agriculture development programme for sustainable agriculture growth.

Jurisdiction / Area of Operation:
3 Zones of U.P. namely, North Eastern Plain Zone (NEPZ),Eastern Plain Zone (EPZ) and VindhyanZone (VZ) consisting 26 districts.

• Ph.D. Programme : Agriculture, Horticulture, Community Science and Veterinary Science.
• PG Programme : Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Horticulture, Community Science,Fisheries and Agricultural Engineering.

Major Area of Research:

Cereals, Horticulture and Vegetable Crops for favorableand unfavorable Eco System of Uttar Pradesh.
